The wedding takes place in Tepoztlán, in the state of Morelos. This small town is located about 90 minutes from Mexico City and about 40 minutes from Cuernavaca. The ceremony will take place in the Church of Santo Domingo. Afterwards, we will have the reception at our family's home.
The closest international airport is in Mexico City (Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez) and you can find it under MEX.
Most hotels in Tepoztlán offer a shuttle that will pick you up from the airport in Mexico City. If you're hotel doesn't offer that option, make sure to let us know so we can arrange transport.
Around the month of April, Mexico City's average low temperature will be around 51°F to 55°F and average high temperature will be around 79°F. Tepoztlán is about an hour and half drive from México and temperatures will be slightly warmer during the day.
We ask all of our guests to wear formal wedding attire. For women please wear floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. For men please wear a formal dark suit, white shirt, and tie.
Yes you can! Although the reception is in our backyard, and the cocktail will take place on grass, we will have flooring set up for dancing and dinner.
Please make sure you bring your personal invitation/admission slip with the address on it when coming to the reception. Additionally, if you're a good friend of mosquitos and bugs, make sure to bring some bug repellant with you and anything else you thing you might need.
Both Mexico City and Tepoztlán are located on Central Time Zone.
Please make sure you go to the RSVP tab and confirm your attendance. If you need assistance please don't hesitate to call us.
The closest Hotel will be Casa Flor de Mayo. They are also having a wedding there though, so it will book up fast. If you want to stay as close as possible to the reception, make sure you book soon. There are several other hotels not far from the reception, too. Some of them even offer an airport shuttle, and some require a 2 night minimum stay.
