What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a Black-Tie Optional dress code for our wedding. "Black-Tie Optional" means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (an evening gown or tuxedo) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead.

What's the weather like this time of year?

We recommend checking the weather closer to the date, as Charleston can be unpredictable - sometimes December is sunny and in the 70s, other times it can be cold. It will get chilly at night. For the ladies: plan for a dressy coat, tailored blazer, wool wrap, fur jacket, shawl, or similar to stay warm once the sun goes down.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be outdoors, cocktail hour will be indoors, and the reception will take place outdoors. There will be a tent.

Can I bring a Guest / Date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. If you've been given a plus one (guest) or family invitation, your invitation will list it.
