Tevin and I met through my sister, Alexis. They were good friends who knew each other from Purdue. She had mentioned Tevin to me several times, but I was unsure because of the slight age difference and with him being so far away. I also thought he would never be interested in me for the same reasons. However, one night, while my mom, Alexis, and I were at HopLore Brewery, Alexis posted a photo of me on Snapchat. A few minutes later Tevin commented back to Alexis. "Is that your sister? She's really pretty! Is she single?" He tells me now that he did in fact know that I was her sister and that he was pretty sure she had mentioned before that I was single. He knew that it was a great segway into asking for my number though. 😂 So after a few messages back and forth we met at the Silver Dipper Ice Cream Shop in West Lafayette for our first date. 😊I was really nervous, but Alexis reassured me that there was only one way this date was going to go. There was no doubt in her mind that I was going to fall in love with him. She was right! Tevin and I both knew after that first date that we wanted to see each other again. The distance no longer mattered. On our second date, neither of us wanted the night to be over! And then on our third date, we both agreed we wanted to be together in a committed relationship. And now here we are today! ❤️
