We met in high school through volleyball. We both went off to college to play volleyball. He in Missouri at Lindenwood and I in Tennessee at Austin Peay. We both felt the need to come back home and connected again through volleyball. Four years of dating and a beautiful little girl later we are getting married!

Thursday after work he takes me and Teagan to Rancho Nipomo (Where we had our first date). Upon returning home, I laying on the couch he takes Teagan upstairs. As they walk down he gives Teagan a box and says, "Here, give this to Mommy." As Teagan tries to open the box and I help her I turn and see Luke down on one knee. I cry and all I can remember him saying is, "Will you be my pepper partner for the rest of our lives?" I cried and laughed and said, "YES!"
