There was an invisible string tying us together long before we knew it. We grew up living parallel lives in Minneapolis, crossing paths likely at Maynard's wharf, concerts, sporting events or maybe even lounging in the same Delta Sky Club. A double date in fall 2022 finally brought us together. Despite spending four months apart due to travel shortly after meeting, our bond couldn't be denied. When we reconnected in spring, life became a perfect blend of golf rounds, boat days, winter ski trips, morel mushroom hunting and competitive game nights (fueled by perfectly crafted old fashioneds, of course). Our story took a sweet turn when Jordan brought Nicole her favorite soup while she was sick (who knew a bowl of soup could lead to "I love you"?). Then came the biggest plot twist at Thanksgiving when Jordan realized Nicole's uncle Mark was his longtime work colleague. They'd traveled Europe together for work, and Jordan now sits in Mark's old office…talk about meant to be! After finding our dream home in a woodsy neighborhood, Jordan eventually planned the perfect proposal on the golf course. Nicole was completely caught off guard (even though she'd been not-too-patiently waiting). By some coincidence, it happened to be the exact same date Nicole's grandmother Lucy got engaged 74 years earlier! Now we're embracing the bold choice of a winter wedding in Minnesota, complete with speakeasy vibes and plenty of old fashioneds to celebrate our love story. See you there!
