Nicole was in town visiting friends and friends of friends - one of them being Jen's cousin Katharine. While conversations got deep, Katharine asked Nicole about her dating life. She mentioned how she was single, and seeing as Jen was also single and in the same neighborhood in Baltimore that very night, Katharine suggested they meet up. Both parties traveled to Alexander's Tavern where Nicole hit it off instantly with Jen.

You may notice these two dates are grouped together and for good reason. These are the dates of Jen and Nicole's first date and the day they got engaged. They are presented together, because both of these significant events happened at the same place. On November 6, 2016, Jen came to Philly to visit Nicole, and Nicole took her to a place called Cira Green where they took great photos and spent the day exploring the city. Just over three years later, Jen took Nicole back to this very spot where she popped the big question! (The answer was yes, obviously)
