We’re getting married!!

Back in May 2019, we had no idea what was in store when we both decided to take a leap of faith and get a new job. For Nicole it was just another travel assignment, and for Fernando, it was a whole new opportunity to grow his career. Day 1: orientation. When we both sat in orientation, fernando sat 2 rows in front of nicole and both of them caught eachothers eyes almost instantly. Nicole thought, well he’ll be in cath lab i wonder if we will ever cross paths not knowing we were going to be in the SAME DEPARTMENT! A couple months later Nicole was hanging out with our good friend and college/uncle, Steve, and they had a couple drinks in them, and it was about 11pm when she asked steve to call fernando up to invite him over. She had no idea he would say yes and be there within minutes! We had a fun night kayaking and learning about eachother, and within no time fernando had already asked Nicole on a date to dive in the pool! Of course she said yes and it was the besf decision of her life!! A couple days later, fernando came over for dinner bearing dinner, wine, and beautiful sunflowers! The evening was going amazing, and Fernando finally dropped the question “will you be my girfriend” and the rest is history!

We went on a family vacation with Fernandos family to key largo, before we were about to start our new job at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. We arrived to the keys via boat after an AMAZING day diving and fishing and having a blast with captain Manny! The next day we had plans to go to dinner with everyone at Snooks, which is a very nice restaurant with beautiful sunset views! The day started with us going fishing and of course, your girl getting sea sick...LOL so while Nicole was napping, Fernando and his mom went out to scope out the restaurant as well as buy flowers and get all ready for what was in store. They came back, and as Nicole was waking up she noticed the flowers but didnt think anything of it and just thought we were going to a nice dinner and fernando had bough her flowers as he always would being the sweet man he is! We get to the restaurant and sit at a table by the water, accompanied by Sebastiano and his wife, among many friends of the family. Fernando mentioned to go over to the dock to watch the sunset and of course Nicole said yes because sunsets are amazing!! We walked over and just as the sun was setting in the most perfect way, fernando mentioned to nicole how he wanted to start a family and a life with nicole and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!! And she didnt say yes...she said SI!
