We worked together for a while before we became friends, and let me tell you, I was not Kyle's biggest fan... at all! Then one day, he drove me to an event for work and we were singing in the car together, talking about life and how we grew up and I thought "Wow, this person is really cool!". We've been inseparable every since.

Well the first time I ever met Nicole, was the first day I moved to my new job. All new people, a brand new place and then I meet this girl, Nicole. We introduced ourselves, shook hands and immediately I could tell there was some animosity there. Little did I know I had “replaced” a coworker. It was rough between us at first, we didn’t talk much beyond simple pleasantries, but the more we worked together the more I wanted to get to know her. Making friends has never been my forte, but Nicole was worth my worst nightmare as an introvert- putting myself out there. I got my big break when I was able to offer my assistance by taking her to a work event. It was the first time we had really gotten a chance to talk. In that one car ride, we formed a friendship that was easily one of the best things that ever happened to me.

I've been living in Italy with my family for the past two years, and Kyle came to visit me that summer. We took an impromptu trip up north with my sister to see my Italian family. Kyle decided at the VERY last second to go out to eat dinner. It was a struggle to say yes because we had been visiting things all day. He took me up to the mountain next to my aunts house to "take pictures". I knew what he was doing from the moment he said "You need to dress nice!" and when he only took ONE picture of the view. The next thing I know, Kyle is on one knee, I'm screaming "YES!" and we were engaged. We are so excited to celebrate the next chapter with you! See you on the other side of the pond... in ITALY!
