Nicole and Brian met on the 4th of July, on a float trip, on the Upper Colorado River, at Windy Point, just below State Bridge. Brian was rafting with buddies, and Barrett (then just 3). Nicole was with some friends, and unknowingly, they were meeting up with mutual friends. As the bow of the approaching raft gently kissed the river bank, Brian quickly leapt from the boat, threw a line around a nearby log and turned to face this beautiful woman who seemingly appeared out of nowhere. As he took off his sun-bleached cowboy hat, releasing his long mane of silky locks around his shoulders, he turned to Nicole and with a melting grin and said, "Hiya, beautiful. Come here often?" The rest, as they say, is history. They raft this area almost every weekend of the summer, now as a family, and toast one another as they pass by Windy Point! -Written By- Brian Moore :)
