Nicole's point of view: One of my friend's was having a birthday party. I get called over by a friend to chat with Tom and a couple other people. As I approach they say "Nicole, guess what...Tom went to Salem High School" (where I attended). I started asking a bunch of questions because I was shocked! How did I not know this 6 ft 6 in tall guy in high school? He's hard to miss! Also my school had 7,000 kids. Part of me believed it for a bit since it truly was impossible to know every person in the school. With every question I asked he had BS'ed his way through and knew the random facts about Salem that only one who attended would know. Finally I asked to see his Facebook and the first thing I saw was "Attended Mentor High School, Ohio". He fooled me for about 10 minutes but I figured out his lie! It was kind of cute that he tricked me, he showed a bit of game! After that we tried playing the prank on my other high school friends, and I gave him more facts about Salem that would make it even more convincing. We hung around each other for the rest of the night. Every time I'd walk away to a separate room he'd soon after walk through the door and spark up conversation again. We both went separate ways that night but I couldn't stop thinking about him. After a few days went by, to make sure I wasn't being too eager, I friend requested him on Facebook. One could say I made the first move! We started messaging each other and truly the rest is history. I am head over heels in love with Tom. We cannot wait to get married and to celebrate with all of our favorite people. Cheers to forever!
