We met at San Diego State University. We struck up a conversation after class and Nicole walked Nils to his math class so they could continue talking. We quickly became best friends and had instant respect, love, and admiration for each other from that point on forward.

We unquestionably know it is time to join our lives, loves and families. On Wednesday after Nicole had a long day at Campland Mission Bay with her family, Nils and Nicole both went to the San Diego Zoo as the sun was setting. We had the best time at the zoo just being silly and being each others counterpart. At the end of the night Nils proposed at 9pm when the zoo was closing <3 We spent our one year engaged anniversary at the same places.
