We were in the same friend group in high school, but we lost contact when Nicolas moved after sophomore year of high school. We regained contact through social media in college, and we began talking every single day. After a few months it became evident that we had feelings for each other, but we were both attending college in different states. We didn't start visiting each other regularly until we had graduated college. We only saw each other every few months, but we still facetimed every chance we could get. We finally got engaged in December of 2024 and after almost 5 years of dating long distance, we are excited to make a home together in Utah.
