The YSA wards work guys! McKenna and Nick met in the Provo 2nd ward, after being in the same family home evening group! After studying in the library and attending the temple together, McKenna asked Nick for his location, since she decided they were going to be best friends now. A couple weeks later, Nick asked McKenna on their first date after making muddy buddies together. This is when things started to sparks!

The end of November was our first date, hiking to a natural hot springs! Nick was very excited to take a cute girl out even though he thought someone else was going after her. It was the most fun date Nick had been on in a long time! He thought McKenna was very cute and she had a crazy personality. It was snowy and icy for the hike so McKenna held Nicks arm the entire time.

After asking and asking and ASKING, McKenna finally said yes :)

Nick took McKenna around to places where they had their firsts together- first date, first kiss, where they became official. At each spot there was a rose with a note. At this point, McKenna knew that Nick was going to propose! They made their way to bridal veil falls, where she said yes in a grove of trees!
