If you had told us years ago that our story would begin at Flora-Bama, we probably wouldn’t have believed you. Nick is from Alabama. Maggie is from Florida. Somehow, after growing up just miles apart for most of our lives, it took a first date at a place that literally sits between both states for our paths to cross. What started with a conversation and a chance to get to know one another quickly became something special. Looking back, we can clearly see God’s hand at work in bringing our lives together at exactly the right time. At the time, Maggie had built a life she loved in Jacksonville—a fulfilling career, a home she was building, and her golden retriever, Nash, faithfully by her side. Little did she know that some of her greatest blessings were just around the corner. Meanwhile, Nick was focused on building a successful career in construction project management, investing in his personal growth, and creating a strong foundation for the future. Neither of us knew it at the time, but God was preparing us individually for the life we would eventually build together. Before long, Nick entered Maggie’s life, followed by the arrival of Cooper, and together we became the family we were always meant to be. The love, laughter, and joy we share today are gifts we thank God for every single day. Through every season, God has been faithful in writing a story far greater than anything we could have planned ourselves. Now, surrounded by the people we love most, we are so excited to celebrate this next chapter and begin our forever as husband and wife. And while we’ve learned that love can bridge state lines, blend families, and overcome just about anything, there is still one debate we’ll probably never settle: Roll Tide or Go Noles.
