There is a welcome dinner on Friday, June 20th, followed by the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday, June 21st. With that being said, we recommend arriving by Thursday, June 19th the latest so that you have a day to adjust to the time change. As for how long you should plan to stay, that is totally up to you! Some people will come for just the long weekend while others will make a vacation out of it.
While all are welcome to stay at the Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento, it is not required. There are many other hotels and airbnbs to suit all budgets in the area that are just a few minutes walk away. Please visit the travel tab for more information.
June in Italy will be similar to June in New Jersey. It will be warm during the day with a chance for a cool breeze at night. The wedding day attire is formal; however, the other events are more casual. We recommend bringing sneakers if you plan on sightseeing and a bathing suit if you plan on attending one of Sorrento's many beach clubs. For the men, please keep in mind that many of the nicer restaurants do require pants & shoes.
At this time there are no visa requirements for US citizens; however, there is talk that it might change as of 2025. Please check back here as we will make sure to update any and all travel requirements.
Transportation will be provided to and from the ceremony on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Transportation will leave from the Hotel Mediterraneo.
While we love your little ones, this is an adult only event!
Please RSVP by March 15, 2025.
The dress code for the ceremony and reception is black-tie optional/formal. Think italian chic, elegant, fun-colors, long dresses. Men do not have to wear tuxes or ties.
