Jake and Nicolasa met while in college at Baker University. Although the two originally crossed paths in 2017, it wouldn’t be until 2019 that they would start talking. During an event for the school, Nicolasa and Jake started interacting through dance practice. Nicolasa became interested by seeing how laid back Jake was and how willing he was to let loose and dance. Jake has some moves! Jake made the first move by asking for Nicolasa’s snapchat. One night while older friends went out to a bar, Nicolasa and Jake hung back and decided to watch an Avengers movie. That movie date would later lead to a first date at Hawaiian Bros. And after a few years, it would later lead to Nicolasa and Jake getting their dog, Benj, together and buying their first house together. They both love to enjoy the peacefulness of a cup of coffee, their backyard, and playing with Benj.
