We’re getting married ya’ll!

We met on a very expensive and exclusive online dating service, Tinder. At a few failed attempts in meeting up, Nik eventually made the long treacherous journey to Locust Point, MD and that’s when history was made.

In 2016, after numerous background checks, interviews with employers, and hours of surveillance by a private investigator, Nik finally felt confident enough to introduce Kate to his two children, Peighton and Greyson. On their first outing they visited Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK. Watching Kate interact with his children verified his indications that he was in love with this wonderful woman. --Fast forward three years to 2019-- After dragging his feet, Nik finally built up enough courage to seal his fate. With the permission from Kate's father, brother, and most importantly, his children, he took her back to the place where he first fell in love with her. He employed his two accomplices (kids) to assist. One distracted her while the other helped him pick out the ideal spot in Myriad Gardens to drop to a knee. With sweaty palms and a few shots of tequila in his belly, Nik proceeded to get down on one knee, in front of the most important people in his life, and requested the woman of his dreams to become his wife. His accomplices also proposed to Kate requesting her to be their Step-mother. Reluctantly, she said YES!!!

As you all know, Nik serves in the military. The occupation comes with a fair amount of unpredictability when attempting to plan in advance.
