Where is the wedding taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both be held at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, SC.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?
Answer
The ceremony is at 5:00pm, but plan on getting there early to get parking and a seat!

Will there be any songs in the ceremony?
Answer

The dress code is semi formal!

What weather should I expect?
Answer
Hurricane Katrina, more like Hurricane Tortilla. October in South Carolina is basically weather roulette, so keep an eye on the radar!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding will be outdoors, so please plan accordingly with shoes and clothing! There will be some walking in grass, so make sure your heels aren't going to sink. Also, October in South Carolina can be tricky, so keep an eye on the radar!

What should I expect after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures in the Gardens for around an hour. Guests can walk over to the Cottage for cocktail hour (there will be people guiding) where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around soon after, with dancing to follow!

We will be having Barbecue!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. We appreciate your understanding!

Answer
We would love to be able to invite everyone's children, but unfortunately we cannot accommodate everyone.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
We have not blocked any hotels. We highly recommend booking a place to stay as soon as possible!
