Boulders Beach: An incredible experience getting up close and personal with African penguins. Boulder's beach is just an hour from Cape Town and the water's a lot warmer here too!
Table Mountain: Hike it or take the cable car up to take in the spectacular views of Cape Town. There's also a great hikes at the top of the mountain if you don't feel like hiking up and down.
Lion's Head: Head up first thing in the morning before the sun gets too hot, or take a bottle of rose up at sunset for some stunning views.
Babylonstoren: A farm and vineyard in Stellenbosch, consistently rated as one of the world’s most beautiful gardens. After a stroll around the gardens there's plenty of great activities to do such as olive oil tasting, soap making, the art of bonsai and much more! Kirstenbosch Gardens: For an option closer to the city, check out Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Table at de Meye: A vineyard near Stellenbosch serving delicious picnics in a stunning setting. The restaurant there is great too!
Oranjezicht market: A vibey outdoor food market on the Waterfront with lots of top eats from around Cape Town (Saturdays only)
Neighbor Goods Market: An outdoor food market with cute stores and live music in Woodstock (Sundays only)
Robben Island: Explore the island where Nelson Mandela was held prisoner. Ferries from the Waterfront run multiple times daily.
Shark Cage Diving: If you're feeling brave enough, head to Gansbaai for white shark cage diving! Located approximately 2 hours from Cape Town there are plenty of day tours that will take you to and from Cape Town. Paragliding: If you're looking for a slightly less intense experience, why not try paragliding from Lion's Head and Signal Hill for incredible views over Cape Town.
