¿Cual es la vestimenta? What is the dress code?
Answer
Este evento no es de corbata negra pero si es formal. Para las mujeres usar vestido largo y para los hombres traje con corbata o corbatin. Les pedimos que NO SE PONGAN BLANCO (vestidos, chaquetas) y por favor no tenis. Les recomendamos que traigan zapatos comodos para cambiarse durante el baile, pero durante la recepción es formal. Subachoque se pone frio por la noche, vestirse apropiadamente. This is not a black tie event but it is formal. For women, we are asking long dresses and for men suit with tie or bowtie. We are asking to please NOT WEAR WHITE (no dresses, white jacket) and no sneakers. You may bring sneakers or comfortable shoes of your choice to change into after dinner but for the reception we are asking guest not to wear sneakers. Subachoque can get a little cold at night, dress appropriately.

Lluvia de sobres "Lluvia de sobres es la tradicion de regalar dinero en efectivo a los novios en un sobre el dia del evento" (Si pueden, los novios prefieren dolares) Para los que vienen de Estados Unidos: Si nos quieren entregar dinero antes de la boda o por banco a banco, Venmo, o efectivo en persona estamos dispuestos a eso tambien. No puedes asistir pero nos quieres dar un regalo? Tenemos un registro en esta pagina que nos puedes mandar un regalito virtual! Monetary contributions "Lluvia de sobres, slightly translated as rain of envelopes, is a tradition where guest give a monetary contribution in an envelope to the couple the day of the event" (If possible, please keep it to US Dollars) For those coming from the USA: If you want to give us the gift prior to the wedding, we are also open to Venmo, bank to bank transfer, or cash in person. Can't attend but want to give us a gift? Please check the registry link and you can send us something there virtually!

Aunque nos hubiera gustado que sus hijos celebraran con nosotros, este evento es solo para mayores de 18. As much as we would love your kids to be there, this event is for adults only (18+).

¿Como es el clima de Bogota? How's the weather like in Bogota?

El clima de Bogota y Subachoque es impredecible. Por lo que recomendamos llevar abrigo/sombrilla por si hace frio y gafas oscuras/ bloqueador por si sale el sol. The climate in Bogota and Subachoque is unpredictable. Therefore we recommend to bring a jacket/ umbrella incase if its cold and sunglasses/ sunblock incase it gets sunny.

¿Como me transporto en Bogota? How do I get around in Bogota?

La mejor manera de moverse por la ciudad es Uber o un taxi de empresa solicitado desde el hotel. Si tienes acceso a wifi, te recomendamos bajar la aplicación Cabify para pedir un taxi. Le recomendamos no tomar taxis de la calle, buses, o el transmilenio. The best way to get around the city is by Uber or a taxi requested from your hotel concierge. If you have access to wifi, we recommend downloading the app Cabify to call a taxi. We do not recommend flagging taxis of the street or taking public transportation such as buses or the "metro system" known as Transmilenio.

La moneda local es Peso Colombiano / The local currency is the Colombian Peso 1 USD= $4,000 COP (approx.) La moneda sube y baja, por favor chequar en la hora de que esten en Colombia. The dollar flunctuates, please check the rate close to the date. Tarjetas de credito son aceptadas en la mayoría de lugares / Credit cards are accepted in most places
