We came here for our first date in August 2022

Torrey Pines Gliderport

This is where Nicky proposed! This special place is where we love to bring small picnics and camping chairs to sit on the bluffs and watch the ocean below and the paragliders above. The actual glider port also has opportunities to paraglide (tandem with a pro of course) or grab a bite to eat at their cafe.

The Rose Wine Bar

One of our early dates was at this wine bar in South Park. We recommend the Cab Franc!

San Diego Zoo

Wormwood

We came to this restaurant the night we got engaged!! Great food, and a specialty absinthe bar with the works 🤍

The Taco Stand

There are a few locations in San Diego.. These are our all time favorite tacos. 10/10 recommend

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park

Great place to walk and enjoy the coastal views. Make sure to grab a burger at Hodads in OB or fish tacos at South Beach after your walk

Vino Carta

This wine bar has a retail shop - you can purchase a bottle from the retail side and enjoy it in their cozy lounge area or bar.

Hotel del Coronado

Our recommendation: park at the lot just south of the Del, walk north to dog beach to say hi to all of the good boys, and walk through the historical (and haunted?) hotel del.

Sushi Deli 1

One of our favorite sushi spots, which is conveniently walking distance from Evelyn’s apartment. Great, fresh, cheap sushi with a fun twist.

Moniker Coffee Co.

Moniker coffee is one of our favorite coffee spots, and is extra special to us because of our dear friends, the Sages, who have both worked for this unique company. After coffee check out liberty station or walk along the water
