Who knew that needing a TV hung would lead to finding my future husband? I overheard at work that Jason was handy, so I took a shy leap and asked, “Think you could hang a TV for me?” He was just as shy—but said yes. From that moment on, history was in the making. We became fast friends, then something more. We looked totally different on the outside, but we quickly realized we were basically the same person—two awkward, goofy peas in a pod. What made me fall for Jason wasn’t just the handyman skills (though bonus points for that), it was his warmth, respect, and how he made me feel truly seen. He’s kind, supportive, and honestly, just an amazing human. From our first date to now, he continues to make me laugh, lift me up, and love me deeply. The little girl in me is still in awe that I found someone like Jason—thanks to a TV mount and a little courage.
