Where should we eat on thursday?

Answer

GOWANUS / PARK SLOPE Since we’re locals… Here are some of our favorite spots that you might want to try before Shuffleboard: Insa - https://www.insabrooklyn.com/ Korean BBQ, fried chicken, and cocktails. Big open space with Karaoke rooms in the back and a kitchy bar in the front. Victor - https://www.victorbrooklyn.com/ Around the corner from Shuffleboard and oh so yummy! SweetTalk - https://www.sweettalkbrooklyn.com/ Hawaiian honeymoon vibes right across the street from our apartment. If you ask nicely, maybe Macho will join. Four & Twenty Blackbirds - https://birdsblack.com/pages/locations Grab a coffee or a slice of pie. Perfect for desert or a sweet treat appetizer. Emmy’s Squared - https://www.emmysquaredpizza.com/location/park-slope-brooklyn-ny/ Casually elevated pizza with Patrick approved pepperoni. Calexico - https://www.calexico.com/location/park-slope/ TexMex at it’s finest! Get a bowl or a taco but definitely the brussels and jalapeño margarita. Burgers & Beer - https://www.brooklynburgersandbeer.com/ The name says it all! Kid friendly. Gourmet approved. Haenyeo - https://haenyeobk.com/ Craving something finer? Grab a friend and make a reservation. Start with the dukboki and one of their house cocktails while you contemplate ordering too much. Claro - https://www.clarobk.com/ Upscale much? Make a reservation and find out why everyone crosses the Gowanus Canal for this one

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN / BOERUM HILL Grab a snack on your way to the park or sit down for a proper meal after… Here are some spots we like: Butler. - https://www.butler-nyc.com/ Delicious coffee, sweet treats, and lite bites. It also happens to be Patrick's grandmother's maiden name! Meet us here at 10AM and we can walk to the park together or plug it in as your destination - we'll be close by. Seamore's - https://www.seamores.com/location/dumbo/ Super close and super yummy! Lots to do nearby if pick this spot if you need a destination to wander from. Harriet's Rooftop - https://www.1hotels.com/brooklyn-bridge/taste/harriets-rooftop Elevated (literally) and delicious. Bar bites and cocktails with stunning views. Hanco’s - https://www.hancos.com/ You’re looking for their Smith St location. Vietnamese sandwiches, salads, soups, more. Grab it for the park if you’re not dining in. Don’t forget to order a Vietnamese iced coffee or bubble tea! French Louie - https://frenchlouienyc.com/ Simple and tasty. Think martinis and fries - French at its casual best. Blue Bottle Coffee -https://bluebottlecoffee.com/us/eng/cafes A little bit of SF in NYC and scattered all around the city. This one is on Dean St (just off of Smith). One of our favorite coffee shops and a great way to start the day or a shopping trip down Atlantic Ave, Smith or Court St.
