Maid of Honor
Lauren and I go way back—literally, I’ve only not known her for the first five years of my life. We met in preschool when one of us asked the other for a crayon. Seems like a pretty solid foundation for a lifelong friendship, right? After that, we were inseparable. Even when I left that school and started homeschooling, we stayed stuck like glue. Some of my favorite memories are spending Halloweens at her house every year, strategically dodging the dentist’s place to avoid getting another toothbrush. Through Lauren, I met other lifelong friends who show up on this page, too. I once tried to get her into ice skating, but it was a total bust. Tae Kwon Do, though? We absolutely crushed it together. Lauren’s my constant. No matter what, she’s always there for me, ready to show up at the drop of a hat.

What can I say about Nikki? We were literally thrown together in cosmetology school. No, really—our instructors told us we were the only two from our school headed to Tokyo for a program. We boarded that insanely long flight as strangers, but by the end of the trip, we were joined at the hip. That adventure was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had, and Nikki made it unforgettable. One of my favorite memories from that trip was our late-night quest through Shibuya around midnight, desperately searching for “American food.” Nikki swore if she had to eat one more bowl of noodles, she’d lose it. We finally stumbled on a pizza shop—salvation, right? Nope. It was the weirdest pizza I’ve ever tasted, but also kinda amazing. Nikki, though? Not amused. When we got back, I practically moved into her trailer. Nikki’s become such a huge part of my life—I can’t imagine it without her.

Sarah and I met in Florida when I started working at a photography studio just after COVID. At first, I was convinced she couldn’t stand me—joke’s on me, though, because we clicked hard. We’d sit in the sales room, cracking up over the bizarre props people brought in. We’d hang out at each other’s houses, taking turns being the “body double” while the other cleaned, just to keep each other company. We’d spend hours by the pool, soaking up the sun, or just drive around aimlessly, vibing together. Sarah’s become a true friend, and those moments are everything.
Flower Girl
Three years ago this week, Quinn entered our lives and turned our house into a true home. She’s grown so much since then, and we’re beyond grateful to have her with us. Quinn didn’t just become part of our family—she created it. Her boundless energy and radiant joy light up every room she’s in. She’s the ideal flower girl for our wedding, with her love for flowers… though we’re not betting on all those petals landing where they’re supposed to. Oh well!

At the end of 2021, we settled across from Tiffany and Andrew, who greeted us with warm smiles and open hearts. That summer of 2022, their patio became our daily hangout, filled with stories, tasty meals, and endless laughter. They were some of the first to hear about and meet Quinn, offering unwavering support from the start. Having Tiffany as part of our big day was a no-brainer—she’s watched our family blossom firsthand.
