It started with a text message on April 14, 2022... Dayane was impressed with Nickolas's professionalism and intelligence during a work meeting with their school's district superintendent. She was compelled to send a message informing him of his great qualities. He was always curious about Dayane, but he never dared to approach her on his own. He would see her walking down the school's hallways with her designer heels and confident stride and did not know how to take a conversation beyond a simple "Hi" or "Hello”. That text message opened the door to a world of romance that has blossomed into a beautiful relationship. Later, Dayane revealed that she had put several things in motion to start talking to Nickolas weeks prior. Nickolas was clueless but was happy for the chance to begin dating Dayane. After several weeks of getting to know each other, Nickolas finally invited Dayane to his favorite Venezuelan restaurant on May 3, 2022 to what came to be the first of many dates. Since then, the two have put each other through numerous "tests" including Nickolas having Dayane meet his family on his maternal side; if you know, you know. 😂 Nickolas knew Dayane was the one and was already gearing up to propose. But, life took an unexpected turn on October 15th, 2023 when they discovered they were expecting a little girl. It was a testament to their bond and union. The turn of events further solidified their love and commitment. They traveled to Cartagena, Colombia four months later, where Nickolas proposed to Dayane on February 16, 2024.
