We met in high school as friendly rivals, always trying to outscore each other. Eventually, we realized teamwork was the smarter move—and we’ve been a team ever since. We stayed together throughout university, even though Nick went to Waterloo and Annalise to Windsor. Luckily, Covid meant Nick was only away for one semester (plus, his “creative” note-sharing bribery helped too). Nick proposed at Sprucewood on August 9, 2024, which has since become one of our favourite places—and the spot where we’ll be celebrating after the ceremony. We’ve recently moved to Kingston for Annalise to attend Queen’s, and the newest addition to our lives is our puppy, Poppy. She may be a little chaotic, but she’s definitely spoiled and has us wrapped around her paw. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
