Our journey begins with the age-old cliché saying: "You’ll find love when you least expect it". As it turns out, there might be some truth to it. What else could explain a girl from Maryland and a guy from Texas both choosing to visit Hawaii the same week, and unexpectedly crossing paths? There are a million reasons we could’ve never met, but as fate (God’s plan) would have it, a whirlwind romance bloomed that first night. Our lives quickly took a turn neither of us anticipated, filled with flights, long phone calls, and the occasional love letter. From the beginning, it was clear we couldn’t imagine life without each other. We saw in one another what we had both been searching for but hadn’t yet found. Trusting in God's plan, we’ve made Him the center of our relationship, allowing our love to flourish as a testament to the power of surrender and faith. And so, here we are today! We decided that long distance isn’t for us, and want to make it official. In a few months, near Serena's hometown in Maryland, we'll celebrate with family and friends from both coasts and even around the world. Of course, we’ll also honor our friends from Hawaii, who we owe big time! We're beyond excited to share this special day with everyone!
