Main Street At Lakewood Ranch
A lot of great restaurants, a small movie theater, and some local artisanal shops.
The Mall at University Town Center
An indoor mall that's a bit farther away (20min from Parrish) but with a lot of shops, stores, and restaurants around it as well. Shoppes at University Town Center is across the way. P.S. If you go here I do not recommend eating at Kona Grill!
The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature
This includes: The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature is the largest natural history museum on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The Planetarium, featuring one of the most advanced all-digital projection systems in the world, presents astronomy programs the whole family will enjoy. An art museum housing a private collection of Salvador Dali's artwork. They usually have another art exhibit in conjunction. We highly recommend seeing the Dali360 if you go.
