Nick and Isabella met at college in Carol Zweifel's first-year kinesiology class in the spring of 2014. Nick had noticed this cute Canadian girl with an endless collection of scarves that seemed to attend class whenever she felt like it. Isabella had noticed this very friendly guy, decked from head to toe in free varsity weight room clothing, that kept sitting next to her and trying various conversation starters on her. Nick's irresistible charm soon wore through Isabella's introverted exterior and a first date was set. After a couple of homemade dinners by Nick, it wasn't long before "I love you's" were exchanged and an apartment lease was signed (live in chef?! yes please.). Two incredible years flew by with countless laughs, adventures and amazing food. As Nick's graduation date grew nearer, the painful choice to go long distance was made. Nick and Isabella navigated the challenges of long-distance love taking planes, trains & automobiles to see each other even if just for a couple of days. On a blustery June day in 2018, Nick got down on one knee and asked Isabella if she would marry him. It was the easiest decision Isabella ever made. On October, 23rd, 2021 we will be celebrating the end of this chapter and stepping into our new one - as husband and wife, surrounded by the love of family and friends. We can't wait.
