Take a drive on Pierce Stocking Drive for easy access to the top of the bluffs and Lake Michigan overlook. The Empire Bluffs Trail is one of our favorite hiking trails -- and where we got engaged! If you like to bike, check out the Heritage Trail and take it all the way another one of our favorite places, Bohemian Road Beach.
One of our favorite spots to grab a burger after a day at the beach or a long hike. Just a head's up - cash or check only!
We're pretty serious about our cherries here and there's no place better to get your cherry fix then Cherry Republic. This is the original location, but you can also find them right in downtown Traverse City too.
One of our favorite places to get in the water! (FYI - a Sleeping Bear Dunes park pass is required)
Hands down, the best cheese in all the land! And lucky for you, it's just a mere 2.3 miles from our venue. Pay a visit to Leelanau Cheese for their award-winning raclette.
Hands down, the best croissants around.
Come for the wine, stay for the sunset.
This historic renovated theater is right in the heart of downtown Traverse City and one of our favorite date night spots. Fun fact - this theater is primarily operated with the support of local volunteers!

Best Detroit-style pizza in Traverse City! Great for take-out. We recommend dining outside at Clinch Park, just a couple blocks away.
This former state mental hospital turned tourist destination makes for a great half or full day excursion. Start with breakfast at Red Spire or Sugar 2 Salt, shop at the Mercado, hike the trails, break for lunch at Spanglish, and end with cider at Left Foot Charlie's or beer at Earthen Ales.
Traverse City's main hub for food trucks. Perfect for large groups and the indecisive.

For the craft beer fan that's looking for something unique - lots of seasonal varieties to choose from!
Check out their website for trail maps! Highly recommend the Leelanau Trail. Relatively easy trail -- paved with minimal gradient changes. Best way to experience Leelanau County's picturesque landscape of farms, orchards, wetlands and forest. Plus, plenty of nearby wineries, breweries, and restaurants to refuel.
