Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to our venue requiring a specific headcount, only named guests are invited, and it would explicitly say "and guest" on your invitation if you have a guaranteed plus one. The general criteria we used is that we know both members of the relationship super well, and/or they were married, engaged, or living together at the time we sent save the dates. If you are unsure, please contact us to ask - we may have some extra space depending on RSVPs, and may extend plus ones to those we know in newer relationships as it gets closer to the date.

Can I bring my child?

We are having a child-free wedding and the youngest people there will be some college-aged cousins. We totally understand if this makes it impossible for you to attend some or all wedding events.

What should I wear?

Answer

For the wedding: Semi-Formal: Suits, gowns, and cocktail dresses. Dresses should be seasonally appropriate for fall, sundresses are likely a bit too casual and super short dresses don't quite fit the vibe of the venue! For those who prefer a suit, a full suit is probably the best baseline. A sports jacket and slacks would also be acceptable, but you'd likely be more on the casual end of guests. Our wedding is entirely outdoors, and we want our guests to be comfortable. October weather in New England can mean warm and sunny or cooler and cloudy, so check the weather in the days leading up to see if you need additional layers. The general palette of the wedding is neutral, autumnal colors, but there is no specific color guidance for guests! For the welcome party: Casual cocktail attire. Shorter or more casual dresses are fine! Button up shirts and slacks with or without a jacket work great. Just avoid jeans, t-shirts, and workout clothes, and you should be good to go.
