Nicki and Clark met at Hedgerow Theatre in Media, PA during the summer of 2022. Nicki was a fellow living and working at the theatre. When the theatre decided to do a production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Nicki was assigned as the show's stage manager while Clark was cast as Orsino, the love drunk duke of Illyria. Funnily enough, the two did not interact much past a strictly professional relationship during this show. It was not until Hedgerow's production of Tales From Poe, the educational theatre experience that takes audiences on a journey through Edgar Allen Poe's life and stories, where Nicki and Clark truly formed a bond. Nicki was cast in this show as Annabel Lee and Clark as Poe. Through being cast together, the two started spending much more time with one another, both on the stage, and soon, off the stage. From their first date together axe throwing, their second date, where Clark boldly brought Nicki to a Halloween party and introduced her to all of his friends, and the many travels and experiences the two have had together, they never fail to bring plenty of laughs, smiles, reassurance, good food, great music, and of course, love, to each other's lives.
