Historic Havre de Grace
Havre de Grace is a charming historic town nestled between the Chesapeake Bay and the Susquehanna River. Grab a sweet treat from Bomboy's homemade candy and/or ice cream shop, find a souvenir to take home at one of several antique stores or small businesses in town, or walk along the bay and enjoy the views at Concord Point Lighthouse.
National Mall
Although an hour away from BWI, it's worth it to spend a day at the National Mall if you have never been before and have some spare time. From the monuments and views that you see all the time on TV to the iconic (and free!) museums and art galleries, there's a reason it's a popular tourist destination and a must-see if you're in town.
Camden Yards
Even though we don't really follow baseball, we love catching a game at Camden Yards a couple of times a year. It's been hailed as one of the best ballparks in the country. You can watch them play against the Toronto Blue Jays or the Cleveland Guardians during this week.
Bulle Rock Golf Course
Golfing is one of Nick and Cheryl's favorite pastimes. Designed by Pete Dye, Bulle Rock has long been considered the region’s best player’s course and the top ranking public course in Maryland. Zagat readers have also ranked Bulle Rock among the nation’s Top 50 golf courses. Bulle Rock is proud to have played host to the McDonald’s LPGA Championship, one of only four "major" championships on the LPGA Tour.
