It’s no secret that Vivian and Nick are already married. However, the love story of these high schoolers began the summer of 2015, in a Bill Miller's BBQ. After a few weeks of back and forth teenage flirting; Vivian decided to make the first move by leaving her number between the windshield wipers of Nick’s car, forgetting an important piece of information — her name. Eventually, the two figured it out and a first date took place the following weekend with dinner and a movie. The rest of that summer was filled with many other dates and late night texting. Eventually, the summer came to an end and the two teenagers lost touch when Nick left for boot camp and Vivian returned to her Junior year of high school. Almost a year later, Vivian gets a text from Nick. He mentioned that he would be visiting home in a few weeks and wanted to see her. They hung out almost everyday until he had to return to duty. He asked Vivian to visit him for New Years later that year and after weeks of begging her mother; Vivian was on a plane trip to California to visit Nick where he finally asked Vivian to be his girlfriend New Year’s Day of 2017. After many, many plane tickets, 1000’s of FaceTime calls, and 4 years of a long distance relationship... Nick got down on one knee Christmas Eve of 2020 and popped the question. How could she not say 'yes'?! That night, Nick shared that he already had a court day set for the following Monday to get married. Vivian laughed, thinking he was joking until she realized he was serious. She reached for a tequila bottle, poured up two shots and the two got married 3 days later. Although Nick and Vivian have been legally bound, they never got a chance to exchange vows and celebrate their love with their loved ones — something they can’t wait to make happen and look forward to sharing with you.
