Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is suggested meaning suits, gowns, and cocktail dresses are welcome. The recommended color palette is bright and festive~ gold, pink, purple, and warm tones are good choices since they symbolize happiness and prosperity. But please dress as you wish and how you feel most comfortable!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please plan to RSVP no later than May 15th.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Although we would love for everyone to be able to celebrate with us, we request that you don't bring a plus one unless formally invited!

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Crown One offers valet parking. Street parking is also available if you're lucky enough to find a spot. Please be safe and use other forms of transportation if you're planning on celebrating with drinks!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please let us know in your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions. We'll let you know if the kitchen is able to provide special meal accommodations.

Question

What about an afterparty??

Answer

We are definitely thinking of doing some karaoke if enough people are interested! NYC is the city that never sleeps after all....

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We'll be sad if you cannot attend :'( But please let us know as soon as possible if that's the case so that we can plan accordingly!

Question

What kind of gift should I bring?

Answer

Your presence truly means the world to us! However, if you’d like to give a gift, we’re honoring the Chinese tradition where guests give cash gifts in red envelopes (红包/hóngbāo) to celebrate the couple. For those who would like to honor this custom, red envelopes will be available at the reception. If you prefer, we’ve also set up a honeymoon fund on our wedding website. We’re hoping to finally take our dream trip to Japan—originally planned for 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic—and would be so grateful for your support in making it a reality!
