While Ithaca Tompkins International Airport is the most convenient option—and some nearby hotels offer shuttle service—flight options can be limited. Other airports to consider include Syracuse Hancock International Airport (about 1 hour 15 minutes from downtown Ithaca) and Greater Rochester International Airport (about 2 hours away). For a larger airport, Newark International Airport is approximately 4.5 hour drive away. These airports do not have easy shuttle or bus options, so we recommend renting a car.
