This love story begins in July 2023. Taylor and Nick both attended Highland High School, but their paths never crossed. In July of 2023 both attended a game night at the Pope's orchestrated by Marcus. They began talking golf and got along instantly. A few days later Nick reached out to play Couple's League. They continued to play golf weekly until the season was over for the year. In September, Nick wanted to see if there was anything in common outside of golf. He then took a chance and asked Taylor on the first official date to Buffalo Wild Wings to kickoff the NFL season. Taylor then proceeded to eat about 3 fries on the date, which Nick was worried was a bad sign. Luckily, the next time he asked to hang out, she agreed to come tailgate with his family at an ISU football game. Little did he know she isn't the biggest football fan and was lucky she even showed. From that day on they haven’t spent a day without each other in their lives.
