How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Located just 12 miles from midtown Manhattan, Wave Hill is in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. The venue is accessible by car, however there is limited parking. We've arranged for shuttle buses to leave from some of the hotels we listed in the 'Travel' section. We'll post more details here closer to the event. If traveling by car, Uber or Lyft, Wave Hill is 30min from Upper Manhattan, 1hr from Downtown Manhattan or Brooklyn. If commuting by car, please be sure to take NYC traffic into account.

There is limited parking at the venue (25 spots). We encourage you to join a shuttle or take an Uber/Lyft if possible.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Finding accommodations along the West side of Manhattan would be ideal as that will make it easier to commute to the venue. We've organized room blocks for discounted rates at several hotels. Please see the 'Travel' page for more details.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Formal. For men, this means suit and tie; tuxedos are welcomed. For women, colorful floor-length dresses are preferred, but tea length or midi dresses also work. Also, it is the start of fall and depending on what weather NYC will surprise us with, we suggest having a shawl handy in case it gets chilly.
