Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is cocktail attire. Long dresses and tuxedos are welcome but not at all required. Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so you may want to plan for warm spring weather. We will be out on the lawn, so you may want to avoid stilletos!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Please see the "Weekend Events" tab for more detail, but please join us for a welcome party Friday evening at La Residence and a farewell brunch Sunday morning at the Carolina Inn

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 4:30pm sharp but you're welcome to join us in the Ann Hill Courtyard starting at 4pm

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Complimentary Valet parking will be available at The Carolina Inn. For those who prefer to Uber/Lyft, your driver can pull in the front driveway and drop you at the main entrance

Will there be shuttles to the wedding venue from the hotels?

Answer

If you're staying at the Carolina Inn, both the ceremony and reception are on the property. We are not providing shuttles from the other hotels, but they are all located within 10 minutes of the venue, and both Uber and Lyft are available and affordable in the area

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Nope! All of the hotels are within 5-10 minutes of the venue, and Uber/Lyft are available and affordable in the area. If you're staying at the Carolina Inn, there are numerous options for coffee, food, and drinks within walking distance

I have a food allergy or other dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

We want to be sure you enjoy your evening with us. Please let us know by email (sierra.m.gaffney@gmail.com) if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies. We would be happy to accommodate them.
