Federal Hill Columbus Day Weekend Festival
The Annual Columbus Day Weekend Festival on historic Federal Hill will be held from Oct. 5th through Oct. 8th, 2018. The festival has been recognized as one of the best Columbus Day Festivals to attend, with great food and entertainment. The Annual Columbus Day Parade will take place on Sunday, October 8th at 11am. Haven Bros. Diner
Haven Brothers Diner in Providence, Rhode Island, is one of the oldest restaurants on wheels in America and was founded in 1893 (although their truck says 1888) as a horse drawn lunch wagon. It's a classic Providence staple for the after-bar crowd (open 5pm-4am) and a real Rhode Islander thing to do! ...Yes, it's been mentioned in Family Guy!
2018 Scituate Art Festival
The Scituate Art Festival, in its 52nd year, is a favorite Rhode Island tradition over the Columbus Day weekend. It features 200 juried art and craft exhibitors, select antique vendors, a food court offering regional specialties, live musical entertainment and a huge art/craft/antique raffle.
