What are the COVID requirements for this event?

Answer

Due to the ever changing COVID world we live in, we may have to add in requirements, as dictated by the venue as we get closer. Currently we have no restrictions, however, we ask that you ensure you are not sick and consider obtaining negative test results just prior to the wedding for anyone not vaccinated to ensure the safety of all of our guests. As we get closer we are monitoring requirements and will add them here. Thank you for understanding.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes! Please plan accordingly for safe travels to and from the venue. We will be providing a selection of beer and possibly some wine. A cash bar will be available if you prefer something else.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes. We are still working logistics for the day, however, currently a small cocktail hour will follow the ceremony where snacks and drinks will be made available. Dinner is planned for the reception. Specific time TBD.

Are children invited?

Short Answer is no. As you all know, we have 3 of our own that are a huge part of our day and a lot of you have children that are good friends with ours. While we love your children and are so grateful for their roles in our children lives, we plan on sending our kids home not long after the reception starts. We want to enjoy the evening without having to worry about their level of boredom and want that for our guests as well! Some children are expected such as our adorable flower girl, a Jr bridesmaid and our neices and nephews although they too may 'escape' the majority of the reception as well. Thank you for understanding!

For those flying into town, what do you suggest we do about a ride??

Answer

We have a few suggestions/options for you. A. UBER or Lyft etc are here and should at least be able to get you to your hotel or a car rental lot in the city. We do not recommend renting a car from the airport for more than a day, which leads me to the next option. B. Rent a car for 1 day and swap it out at another rental place in the city. This will save you a good amount on the rental. the airport lots cost more. Meaning turn in the airport one and get a new rental elsewhere. C. Share a rental. You all know other people coming in. If you're staying at the same hotel it makes sense to share!
