Are children invited, or can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love kids and friends! Due to capacity limitations at the venue, we are unable to accomodate any additional guests that were not on the invitation.

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see you in Funky Formal! Dress it up a bit, but still be you. Think semi-formal or cocktail attire in a fun and comfortable way. We will be outdoors and on grass at times, as well as in the barn. The Spring night may get chilly, so bring a light jacket and put on your dancing shoes!

What is there to do in the area?

Charlottesville is home to a world of funky, eclectic, historic, and beautiful stores, artists, locations, craft fairs and more! Coming in a day early will introduce you to the fun of Cville and why we love to call it home! Check out the downtown mall and the UVA Corner for some of the best little spots in town.

Will there be transportation to the Ceremony?

Stay tuned for more information. You are more than welcome to drive the venue. It is approximately 40 minutes from Charlottesville and 10-20 from many other lodging locations.

What is the weather like?

Answer

Central Virginia can get hot and humid, but we should see some of the nicest weather on our wedding weekend. High's should be in the 70's, and low's in the 50's - 60's. Dress comfortably for Spring, and bring a light jacket or shawl in case you get chilly as we will be in the mountains.
