It was a regular Friday for grad school friends, Sanj, Gayatri, Ridhima and Abi. So they decided to have a dinner and drinks night-out! On our way to dinner, Abi asks if we knew anyone who'd be interested in dating a nice guy who is a 'consultant, does crossfit, and is pretty down-to-earth'. Sanj starts listing ALL the single girls in her cohort, except for herself. After dinner, Abi tells us she'd join us for drinks after picking up her two friends who were going to join us at Cindy's rooftop bar. Sanj, Gayu and Ridz decided they'd get the party started in the meantime. Two long island iced teas later, Abi walks in with her friends Erin and Nick. Sanj looks at Nick and immediately has 😍. Little did Sanj know that Abi had been planning this for months! Nick was TERRIBLE at picking dates (despite his friend's sage advice) and had asked Abi to help him find a good match. After meeting Sanj - Abi realized that Nick and Sanj might just be perfect for each other. After ensuring Nick had the date marked on his calendar 2 months, 1 month, 2 weeks, and the very week before the date (She really didn't want him to miss it) - Abi brought Nick to the bar and let him know her chosen bachelorette and her two friends were at the bar. Though Abi never told Nick which friend she had in mind, Nick quickly fell for Sanj from the moment they started talking. The rest - as they say - is history!
