The ceremony is actually in the community center adjacent to the temple. Should you choose to visit the temple, you will need to remove your shoes. No photography is allowed inside the temple.
Welcome! The ceremony will be in the community center just adjacent to the temple. It includes traditional rituals and chanting in Sanskrit. It will include a series of meaningful rituals performed around a sacred fire. Each step symbolizes different aspects of marriage, like commitment, partnership, and family. We will provide reading materials to explain key moments in the ceremony. Feel free to observe and enjoy. No prior knowledge needed!

Traditional Indian attire is welcome, but not required! Please wear something modest (covered shoulders/knees preferred). Yes, photos are welcome during most parts of the ceremony. We’ll let you know if there are any moments where we ask guests to pause.
Vegetarian Indian food will be served in accordance with temple guidelines. Please let us know of dietary restrictions and allergies and we will try to accomodate (ie, Indian food has lots of hidden nuts) The reception will be a buffet style dinner with Indian non-vegetarian and vegetarian options.
