Question

What precautions will be taken in light of COVID

Answer

1) Our wedding venue is a large farm with plenty of space for social distancing both indoors and outdoors. There are two large barns, a covered patio, a spacious open patio, and a big yard. 2) Guests seating for the ceremony and reception will be spaced out. 3) Those who will be using the provided transportation between the hotel and reception site will be asked to observe social distancing and to wear a mask (masks will be provided). 3) Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided to all guests upon arrival. 4) All guests are asked to be considerate of others and follow precautions to keep everyone safe. This includes staying home if you have any symptoms, wearing a mask unless 6 feet apart, and practice hand hygiene.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our recommendation for dressing is business casual to semi formal. Men can wear anything from dockers and a polo to a suit and tie. Women can wear anything from slacks/skirts with blouses to cocktail dresses.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both. Heaters and A/C will be available as needed, however please dress accordingly. As for rain, mostly everything is covered but it is possible to get wet when walking around the farm so umbrellas will be available as well.

Will transportaion be provided to/from hotel and venue?

Answer

Yes, if you are staying at The Montcler hotel there will be a shuttle taking guests to Mora Farm and making return trips in the evening every hour and as otherwise needed.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Please do not take any of the centerpieces/decor. Thanks

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony there will be cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. We ask that guests do not enter the barn during cocktail hour.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Dinner will be Famous Dave's BBQ served buffet style. Guests will be called by table number. Chicken, pork, and beef are the main dishes. If you are a vegetarian when you RSVP please state that in the note section.

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

The reception ends at midnight.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

During the ceremony we ask that guests refrain from taking photos. For the rest of the evening use the hashtag #Nuts4Novak for any photos you would like to share.
