Right near the wedding venue, this is a great place for young kids to get some energy out and is also pet friendly.
Nantahala Outdoor Center
Located at the take out of the Nantahala River, this is a great place to sit and watch the ebb and flow of the river or enjoy a hike along the AT.
Tsali Recreation Area, US Forest Service
The trail system that started it all- where Nick and Rachel had their first date! There are beautiful trails that wind around Lake Fontana, take a quick dip in the lake after you ride or hike! Located in Almond, NC about halfway between Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center. This area is dog-friendly!
Visit Bryson City
Located 20 miles east of the wedding venue, Bryson City is our little town. There are plenty of spots to grab an ice cream cone or cold beer and check out this quaint area.
Hike or Tube in the Deep Creek Area, GSMNP
One of two entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from Bryson City, Deep Creek is a beautiful area with hiking trails and waterfalls to explore. Make sure to grab a parking pass on your way in!
