The setting: Discovery Museum, Acton, MA The why: Nina goes to interview for a job first week of March 2020 (We had no idea what was coming) From her perspective: Walking into the staff only area to meet future colleagues. She is introduced to a grumpy looking maintenance man and thinks "well I'll never have to worry about dating THAT guy". From his perspective: Noticing a women in a power suit interviewing for a job and thinks to himself "Good. luck" fast forward 3 months and she yells at him and he thinks "ahh. A challenge. She's going to put me in my place"

Spring of 2021. Nina asks Nick to go for a walk in the woods. It goes so well that Nick thinks "perhaps this type of exercise is okay". The walks continue and take longer. So much so that Nina's mom at one point is worried Nick has killed Nina on one of the walks.

Setting: December 2023 Her perspective: Nina comes home sweaty and gross after a morning of skiing with her father. At which, Pete forgot his wallet, ski pass, ski jacket, AND ski pants. Nina wondered what on earth was wrong with him. She also cut her ring finger on her skis. After months of wondering constantly when Nick will ask, she walks in the door and thinks to herself "No way he'll ask me right now"...... *Morgan Freeman*: She couldn't be more wrong. His perspective: When? How? Where? After speaking with Nina's parents the plan was to ask at a family Christmas party. Then he realized their home is where he feels most comfortable. Nina walked in the door all sweaty and gross and he thought "now is the time". So he got up in front the Christmas tree and knelt down on one knee and asked. It was perfect.
