We met in the most cliché way possible. At a bar. The Brass Tap. Three little words that would change our lives as we knew it. During a casual night hanging out with friends, we exchanged numbers. We soon discovered the similarities in our love for football, family, and friends that would soon become the center of our relationship. All anyone wants in life is to be happy. That is what we are and will continue to be. The moment we met we knew there was no turning back.
It was a typical Saturday afternoon in April. The day before Easter Sunday. We ran our normal errands that day, with full intention of spending way more money than we probably should. Stopped at one of our regular spots for lunch, before going to Costco to finish up last minute Easter preparations. Seems normal. We came home and one of us needed to go shopping for a new Easter outfit! Why you ask? Well, Easter is pretty important in this household and of course for one of us new outfits are a must! Shopping was cut short due to plans made to watch sunset with Nick's brother Mike. Being rushed was an understatement! While family and friends waited patiently for our arrival at Bonita Beach, it seemed to be that we were running late. Now looking back I could tell Nick was nervous, and now I understand why. As we walked onto the beach our families were waiting. Down on one knee he went as I stood there in utter shock and surprise! Mr. and Mrs. Glavich here we come!
