We first met in 2018 at the hospital in Hagerstown, MD, where we were both working as Medical Laboratory Scientists. We became fast friends bonding over music, memes, and video games. The first time we hung out outside of work we watched the Matrix Trilogy while drinking Truly seltzers, back before they released the lemonade variety (our favorite). After several months we both realized we had feelings for each other, and we started dating in November of 2018 and moved in together the same month. On August 25th, 2023, we attended a concert for our favorite band, Ghost, and at the end of the night I proposed to Nick. It was completely spontaneous, we had no ring but looking around the venue at all of the other Ghost fans, we realized that we had found our perfect partner.
