While Nick and Natalie have actually known each other for quite awhile (since 6th grade!) their relationship didn't truly begin till their Sophomore year of college. Natalie had just moved back to Knoxville from her Freshman year at Chattanooga, and Nick was going into his second year at UTK. The two had a strong friendship they had built over the past years, yet never anything more. But as we all know - things changed :) Overtime, the two began seeing each other and hanging out multiple times a week. Hanging out turned into date parties, date parties turned into formals, and well...you get the picture. Eventually, towards the end of Sophomore year, the two decided to "officially" start dating, which ultimately brings us to where we are now - 5 years later! Nick, being the expert planner that he is, spent months developing his proposal plan with the help of family and friends. He took her on vacation to Mackinac Island where he proposed in the Secret Garden during an "impromptu" photoshoot. Natalie said, yes (of course) and now these two are heading back to Rocky Top to get hitched!
